Dr. Evil & the Goblins

I went to Mexico City to participate in a workshop given by Derek Yaniger.

The workshop consisted in how to make illustrations with 50’s & 60’s retro style, and in making one composition (in this case a cd cover for a fictional band) using all the stuff we learned.
It was great! He gave us so many tips about composition, shapes, types, he was cool too, and learned a few spanish words.

I named my band Dr. Evil & the Goblins. So this is my final sketch:

So I submited a design for threadless, to make this a printed t-shirt. I had fun at doing it, because I haven’t used ink in a while.
